| Plasticore Cables | The inner-core in Plasticore is actually a closely held
composition of high-density plastic - a proven inner-core material with the strength of
steel and resistance to moisture and acid compounds. And since it's plastic,the inner-core
will not rust to the outer cable,which means it will remain flexible and can be easily
spliced if damaged. The inner-core is several thousandths of an inch smaller in diameter, and floats freely inside the outer cable. This design keeps the cable flexible with normal torque. When torque increases, the outer cable twists down to a reduced diameter, gripping the inner-core and forming a rod that transmits greater energy.The release of torque returns the cable to its original flexibility. Plasitcore meets demanding specifications and may be used for grease, lime deposits, paper, rags, roots and other severe applications. |
